Why do project management tools require extra effort?

Most project management tools require users to manually create tasks, assign owners, set deadlines and update progress. This means someone must review conversations, identify work instructions and then enter them into the system. In many organisations, this responsibility falls on project managers or coordinators. Over time, maintaining the task system itself becomes an additional workload. When teams are already busy managing projects, this extra effort often leads to incomplete task tracking.
